Unlike the EAGLE3, the EAGLE CORE is designed specifically for those who are just starting in the hobby of astrophotography and are looking for a system that can be easily operated and transported.

Astrophotography is so much more than connecting a DSLR or mirrorless camera to a telescope. Astrophotographers need to be able to set and shoot while avoiding vibrations during recording. If using a traditional computer, the setup can become incredibly complicated with the many cables and power supplies. EAGLE CORE limits the number of cables and makes the system much more portable.

This PrimaLuceLab system is installed directly on the telescope and will power the different elements of the telescope itself (12V, up to 3 instruments). It also has a modular PLUS case which allows users to install EAGLE CORE on all telescopes and personalize the configuration. The EAGLE CORE's autoguide feature corrects classic tracking errors of equatorial mounts.

Please Note : In order to operate EAGLE CORE with a telephoto lens, you must have the 140mm PLUS dovetail bar (not included). The upper part of the EAGLE CORE has a 1 1/4" photo thread to connect a photo ball head and then the camera. If you are using a heavy photo lens (>200mm), you can add the PLUS Vixen+Losmandy dovetail clamp (not included) and connect the PLUS 90mm Vixen Dovetail Bar (not included) under the camera.
